YBN206 Liner Upgrade

Due to high amount of wear on the North wall parent metal an upgraded liner system is recommended to stop wear on the chute wall.

Liner plates per supplied drawing will be required to be pre-fabricated prior to the shutdown.

Welding of liner plates will be in cut-outs as depicted in attached drawings so that they can be secured to the external upright T-Beams. The cut-outs will then have chockie blocks welded over for protection of the welds.

The head chute is required to be removed to drop in liners with the crane and then transferred over to chain blocks for installation

This will be required to be completed in two stages due to time restraints as two row of liners will need to be installed
